The IRC is delighted to announce that ITV News has won the Television News Award at the One World Media Awards for coverage, shot directly from the IRC's Hagadera Hospital, of the devastating famine in East Africa.
Correspondent Martin Geissler and cameraman Andy Rex documented the work of the IRC's staff from the hospital where over 100,000 patients were treated for maulnutrition and starvation, illustrating the desperation of thousands of families.
