In this video, refugees plead to world leaders to end the war and violence that has consumed and destroyed their lives. One woman from Afghanistan fled her home to save her young children, fearing they would fall into the hands of extremists.
“I was scared that terrorists would kidnap my sons and force them to do terrible things,” she says.
A father from Syria demands: “Stop the war. That’s enough. Syria has been totally destroyed…There is no word to describe how horrific the war is.”
