In 2011 Jencarlos Canela visited Haiti to see firsthand its recovery from the devastating 2010 earthquake. He was so moved by his visit that he returned to Port au Prince in July, 2013 to see the continuing impact of International Rescue Committee programs on displaced Haitians.
